How goes everyone's time at university? Or, for those who aren't at university, how goes your time being not at university?
York's very cool. My room is roughly five minutes' walk form the Physics Department, one minute from Derwent College bar, and about three minutes from Heslington village and the Charles XII pub. It's all about location.
This may seem odd to some people, but I have lectures sometimes. Yes, every weekday. Wierd, eh? However I have approximately sod all homework (bar the weekly problems, which take about 3 hours on a Wednesday afternoon - they're due in Wednesdays at 5pm).
I know quite a few people from my block and my course (some from both) now. Everyone always (yes, everyone in the entire world, every single time) goes to Toffs (nightclub) on a Tuesday. And it turns out that the Gallery has a downstairs that plays Motown music, and hence isn't actually that bad.
Other than the Lowther doing Smith's for £1.20 Sunday-Thursday, the drinks are somewhat hefty - last night I paid £4.40 for two bottles of Stella...
