Just don't ask me why...it was kinda fun, tho. The only thing I regret is the censoring of my intro I dunno if there's really anything to discuss...but I thought it needed a thread anyway. Just to be cool, like all the other articles. Feedback?

*dances* I wrote an article, I wrote an article, I wrote an article hey hey hey hey! Just don't ask me why...it was kinda fun, tho. The only thing I regret is the censoring of my intro I dunno if there's really anything to discuss...but I thought it needed a thread anyway. Just to be cool, like all the other articles. Feedback? Damn you! I just came up to do one for you! Grrr... I liked the article a lot, although I had to read it a couple of times so my mind could process what everything meant. I believe words are just representatives of the unexplained when it comes to emotions. You cannot talk objectively with English when defining how you feel, as your interpretation may be and probably is different to those who you communicate with. Binary, and, in effect, the whole mechanical world is not built on emotion, and so can only produce objective thoughts. We can synthesise them but they will only be symbolic of a single human view. It's hard to explain, I guess I'm trying to develop a point that it's nice to have differences in opinion and expression; if we had an objective language, it'd just feel... crap. And we'd also need around 600 million more words, too.

I believe words are just representatives of the unexplained when it comes to emotions. You cannot talk objectively with English when defining how you feel... the point I was trying to make is that the system itself is faulty......no matter how well you define how you feel, the medium for expression is innately inadequate to the task - your audience will never really know.nah, it'd not be human at all. It'd just be a thing, with no interpretation or feeling associated with it. A picture - perfectly reproduced, perfectly devoid of its own emotion. There is no "feeling" to it until it is subjectivly interpreted by a person, and any number of people will interpret the same scene uniquely.

Matthew and I both assumed that the binary didn't actually mean anything; especially since it was in groups of five bits, rather than four or eight.

Right... like anyone was gonna realise it spelled "English (is cool)". I've still chopped off the "is cool" - we prefer our nonsense to be intelligible.

Oh yeah - I un-chopped off the "is cool" and uncensored the intro ages ago.
So yay me.
